Final Christmas letter 2015

15th December 2015

We are coming to the end of another busy term at Holy Trinity.  Thank you, as always, for your support for your children and the school. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas and a restful holiday.

Staff Changes

This term we have already said goodbye to Mrs Toyne who left at the end of November to take up a new role in a private nursery.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her dedication to Holy Trinity and wish her well for the future.

On Thursday we will be saying a temporary goodbye to Miss Aslam who will be starting her maternity leave.  We wish her well and look forward to meeting her new arrival.  Mrs Alex Gilmore, an experienced teacher, will be taking over the Nursery class while Miss Aslam is absent.

The Magical Christmas Jigsaw

Thank you to everyone who came to see our Christmas show “The Magical Christmas Jigsaw” last week.  Staff and children all worked so hard to prepare for it and it was wonderful to see the hall so full of parents and family members for the performances.

Holy Trinity Christmas Fair

Thank you to all of you who came back to school on Friday evening last week for our Christmas Fair.  Father Christmas was very busy all night and so were all the other games and stalls.  On the night we raised £1018 for school funds.  This is great news and is more than we have raised at any school event since I have been at the school. Thank you for your generosity.

This money will go towards costs of trips and visitors to the school and will help us to give your children exciting and inspiring learning experiences through the year.

School closes for the Christmas holiday on Thursday 17th December at 2.15pm and reopens on Monday 4th January at 8.50am.
