You may be looking at this page as your child will be joining our Nursery or Reception class (EYFS). Starting school is a big step for your child who may be leaving familiar surroundings at home for the first time to make new friends in an exciting environment. Please let us know if you have any worries or concerns about your child. We want to make the transition as easy as possible for both parents and children.

At Holy Trinity Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) both the reception and nursery aged children share one large indoor space with bi-folding doors which can be closed to divide the space into the two separate classes. Both classes have access to an outdoor area via the reception class. In reception we offer 30 places for children aged 4 and 5 and in our nursery we offer up to 35 places for children aged 3 and 4. For the nursery children we hold morning and afternoon sessions and have full-time places available. The vast majority of our nursery transition up to the reception class at Holy Trinity.
The children in reception and full time in nursery are in school from 8.45 until 3.15pm with an hour break for lunch. The morning session in nursery runs from 8.45am – 11.50am and the afternoon session from 12.15pm – 3.15pm.
